Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Softly, a life admin task manager operated by Raj Gurung ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Softly.

The service

Softly is a task management app designed for everyday life admin. It includes AI-powered task creation, voice input, smart reminders, document storage, household sharing, and gamification features. We continuously improve the service and may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at hello@mysoftly.app. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Subscription tiers

Softly offers the following plans:

• Free: limited to 10 active tasks and 5 AI actions per month. Basic features included.
• Pro: unlimited tasks, 200 AI actions per month, voice input, household sharing, streak freeze, and all premium features.
• Annual: everything in Pro, billed yearly at a discounted rate.
• Lifetime: one-time purchase granting permanent access to all current and future features.

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancellation and refund policies are governed by the respective platform. You can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your billing period.

AI features

AI features in Softly are provided on a best-effort basis. AI-generated suggestions, task parsing, and recommendations are intended to be helpful but are not guaranteed to be accurate. Softly's AI is not a substitute for professional financial, medical, or legal advice. Do not rely on AI output for critical decisions in those areas.

Your content

You own everything you create in Softly: your tasks, notes, documents, and any other content. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. We will never sell your content or use it for advertising. You can export or delete your data at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Softly for any illegal purpose.
• Upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service.
• Circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. In cases of serious abuse, we may terminate your account without prior notice. If we terminate your account without cause, we will provide a pro-rated refund for any unused subscription period. You can delete your account at any time from the app settings.

Limitation of liability

Softly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do our best to keep the service reliable and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will be free of errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales. We encourage you to contact us first at hello@mysoftly.app so we can try to resolve things informally.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Softly after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
